The Check-In
A few questions. A few cards. Good for a first visit or a midweek reset.
Book the Check-InDiscover a new approach to memoir through the imagery and symbolism of tarot. In this guided writing workshop, each card offers a fresh perspective on your memories, relationships, turning points, and the experiences that shaped who you are.
Some memories come easily. Others... not so much.
A single image can transport us to a childhood kitchen, a conversation, a road we chose not to take, or a moment that changed everything.
That's the magic of using tarot as a writing tool.
In this guided memoir workshop, we let the cards open doors to our own experiences, not to discover what the future holds but to explore meaning in our lives.
No tarot knowledge or writing experience required. Just an open mind and a little curiosity.
A reading with me is a chance for guided introspection. We pull cards around your energy, not your future. It's a quiet third space for you. On Zoom or in person in Bloomington.
Pick a length; you'll choose your time right after checkout. Questions first? Email me.
Readings are separate from the writing class. Looking to write? Start there.
A few questions. A few cards. Good for a first visit or a midweek reset.
Book the Check-InA full spread, a full hour, and nowhere else to be. This is for the season you're in, not the question of the day.

I'm a writer, editor, and publishing professional with a master's degree in creative writing and a passion for helping people tell their stories. Drawing on years in writing and publishing, and on the rich symbolism of tarot, I explore how unexpected prompts can unlock memories and reveal new perspectives on our lives. My guided tarot memoir workshops blend creative exploration with personal reflection, making storytelling accessible to everyone, regardless of writing experience.
This class is for anyone curious about exploring their life through storytelling, whether you're an experienced writer, a tarot enthusiast, or simply someone with memories you'd like to see written down. No writing experience or knowledge of tarot is necessary. You just need an open mind, a little curiosity, and a willingness to see yourself in a new light.
